Do you like blue? Do you think it is your favourite colour? If so, you are not alone.
A survey conducted by YouGov, that looked at the colour preferences of people living in 10 different countries across four continents, found that in every single country in the world, blue was people's favourite colour, by a staggering margin.
20-33% of people called blue their favourite colour. Blue tends to be more popular with men but it is still very popular with women. So maybe the preferences we think we have our more culturally conditioned than we believe them to be.
"In many respects, colour's greatest challenge is - like music - it resists most attempts to describe it. Colour might be one of those subjects that simply can't be written about." But that's not going to stop Dr. James Fox from trying!
