Some psychedelics, such as psilocybin (the active ingredient in magic mushrooms) and MDMA (also known as ecstasy), are being researched for their potential use in the treatment of certain mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

However, more research is needed to determine the safety and effectiveness of these substances for medicinal use. It is important to note that psychedelics are currently illegal in many countries.
