Since ancient times philosophers and psychiatrists from Aristotle to Viktor Frankl have debated about the importance of purpose. Many people struggle to find a sense of purpose, but did you know that having a strong sense of purpose can actually improve your physical and mental health, as well as your overall quality of life?
In this series of talks, we'll explore the concept of purpose and its powerful effects on our lives. We'll delve into the different levels of purpose, from personal to societal, and how it can drive us to achieve our goals and make a positive impact on the world.
But purpose isn't just about feeling fulfilled and satisfied. It's also tied to ethics and morality, we will delve into the fascinating intersection of purpose and philosophy, drawing on timeless wisdom to shed light on the human connection to purpose and it can also have a major impact on the business world. We'll explore the connection between purpose and profit, and how organisations are increasingly looking beyond the balance sheet to have a greater sense of purpose.
In this series we will bring together the worlds of science, philosophy, and business to better understand the human connection to purpose and how it shapes our lives.
